JAPAN, 20th century. Small cabinet decorated with hens and wading birds in a natural setting, featuring two hinged doors and three drawers on the front. The upper section opens to reveal compartments, and the interior contains six small drawers. Painted, lacquered, and gilded wood. Engraved brass hardware. Height: 35.6 cm, width: 29.2 cm, depth: 14.7 cm. Defective hinges and a small internal hook missing; a crack on the back.
