KOREA, 19th–20th century Five ceramic pieces, including: - A small ovoid jar decorated on the body with brown brushstrokes on a black background. The neck and rim are glazed in gray and blue; the rim is glazed in brown. The interior and base are also glazed. H: 19 cm. - An ovoid vase glazed in white celadon. H: 7.5 cm. Craquelure and chips on the rim. - A pear-shaped celadon and brown vase decorated with brown brushstrokes within gray-white medallions. H: 13.7 cm. Chip on the rim. - Two celadon dishes with lotus-shaped rims, one with a crackled finish (diam.: 23 cm). The second, deeper dish features an ornamental frieze on the side. Fluting on the reverse. Diam.: 28 cm, height: 7.6 cm. Chip and restoration on the rim.
