QUARXX Journey, 2004 Acrylic on canvas, signed lower right 86 x116 cm Quarxx is a multimedia artist, hyperactive and passionate, who finds his field of expression in cinema, photography and painting. He has already exhibited in several galleries in Paris, London, Shanghai and Beijing. Whimsical, excessive, even provocative, Quarxx's multi-faceted universe reflects a real taste for the margins and the unclassifiable characters who populate them. This approach can be seen in his first short films, notably the Rasta-Kamikaze trilogy Bang-Bang / Dirty Maurice / Zéropolis, as well as in Nuit Noire, which was presented at numerous festivals and won the Best Director Award at the L.A. Indie Film Festival.
