Ervin NEUHAUS (1928-2012) Comoslogie Set of nine gouaches 30 x 30 cm Ervin Neuhaus was born in Hungary in 1928. He studied in Belgrade and Jerusalem before moving to Paris. A great specialist in lithography and monotypy (mechanical printing process with a single proof), he developed a whole art form based on the theme of the cosmos, its inhabitants and the sounds of space. As a composer, he was one of the first to use synthesizers. He exhibited both in galleries and in public spaces, and received numerous public commissions.
