Camille Léopold CABAILLOT-LASSALLE (1839-?) - Lot 74
Camille Léopold CABAILLOT-LASSALLE (1839-?) Garden in bloom. Oil on canvas signed and dated 1898 lower right. 148 x 184 cm. Oak frame edged with a gilded foliate frieze, late 19th century. Camille Léopold Cabaillet-Lassalle (1839-1902) was a French painter and illustrator, a pupil of Léon Cogniet, renowned for his genre scenes and portraits, but also for his delicate floral studies. His precise, luminous flower compositions reflect a great naturalist sensibility.
