Single-edged curved steel blade, engraved with an inscribed cartouche on one side, a talismanic motif composed of a Solomon's seal and the numbers 2012 in a floral cartouche on the other side of the blade, chased and nielloed silver handle, beautiful chased and repoussé silver scabbard, dragon's head shaped bolt, accidents, small missing parts.
Length: 77.5 cm with scabbard
Provenance: collection of HRH Prince Osman Ibrahim of Egypt (1951-2025),
son of HRH Amr Ibrahim of Egypt and HRH Princess Nejla Hibetullah Sultan (Necla Osmanoğlu) of Turkey,
granddaughter of the last Caliph Abdulmejid II and Sultan Mehmed VI.
