Pocket watch in 750 thousandths gold, white enameled dial with painted Roman numerals, small second hand at 6 o'clock. Case back decorated with finely chased foliate scrolls. 750 thousandths gold inner case. Swiss mechanical movement, pendant winding, anchor escapement, Breguet balance spring. It is accompanied by a 750 thousandths gold watch chain with lobster clasp and spring ring, adorned with a 750 thousandths gold medal featuring Marianne as a Gallic warrior "Gallia" signed F. Vernon. Late 19th century, French for the chain (dents on the watch).
