MANUFACTURE IMPERIALE DE SÈVRES A celadon-gray enameled porcelain double-bottomed vase decorated with a neo-Renaissance "pâte sur pâte" medallion depicting a Nereide straddling a dolphin, the handles decorated with two dolphins underlined by gold fillets. Stamped on reverse "S.62" and in red "DORÉ N SÈVRES / 62". H: 34 cm. (restoration to neck, cracks to handles) This vase model was created by H.J. Regnier under the direction of Jules-Constant-Jean-Baptiste Peyre (1811-1871).
