SPANISH school circa 1630 - Lot 45
SPANISH school circa 1630 Portrait of a man Canvas 90 x 54 cm Unframed The painting is a portrait of a young man with thick brown hair, beard and moustache and moustache in 17th-century style. The style of Spanish painting is recognizable in the quick but expressive strokes of the lace blouse, but certain elements show a knowledge of Roman painting, which the artist may have acquired during a trip to Italy. This unfinished state gives this work a unique character.
