H. 43 x W. 28 cm. Provenance Artist's studio. History Georges Antheil (1900-1959) was an American pianist, composer and inventor nicknamed "The Bad Boy" because of the scandal caused by his concerts, which he attended armed with a revolver on his piano. A leading figure of modernism, his works would later become highly prized by the Parisian creative avant-garde.
