HANS TICHA (GERMANY/ 1940) Figure with bowler hat,1982 Oil on canvas Signed and dated 'TICHA 82' (lower center) 55 x 40 cm. Hans Ticha, born in 1940, grew up in Schkeuditz. From 1965 to 1969, he studied with Kurt Robbel, Werner Klemke, Arno Mohr and Klaus Witkugel at the Berlin School of Fine and Applied Arts, Weissensee. From 1970, he worked as a freelance painter, graphic designer and book illustrator. PROVENANCE : -Paris collection from the apartment of Madame L.
