In-4, beige calf, mosaic framing of sand, green and ochre calves forming a decoration of apples and foliage in a frame of cream scrolls, smooth spine richly decorated with title in long mosaic cream on black background, int. framing of the same style with green lilies, lining and endpapers of beige moire, double guards, cover and spine cons, gilt edges, beige half-calf folder with cold title and slipcase (Charles Lanoe, binding executed after an original model by Ad. Giraldon, 1914). Illustrations by Adolphe Giraldon. Preface by Joseph L'Hospital. Edition of 125 copies. This one, n° 85, is enriched with 3 plates on chine paper, each with a signed letter from the illustrator : " Pour H. V. ". Bound in fine, the model of the plates of the binding painted with gouache. Minor foxing on the 3 plates on China paper and on the cover. Ex-libris Henri Vever.
