Reproduced in Charles Ratton 2013, p.180 Description by Charles Ratton: "Man, smoking a pipe, seated on a native chair with his feet resting on the ground. His naked body is clothed in a cloth or animal skin, finished at each end with a ball, and passing over his shoulders on either side of his neck to fall back down his body. His right hand holds a large ceremonial sword, decorated and cut to size. Various tattoos adorn his face and skull". Inv. n° 1219. Bédiat purchase 1935. Provenance: Charles RATTON
