Superb crocodile head pendant. L = 6.5 cm. Number 155. Featured in the "Félix Fénéon" exhibition from May 28 to October 6, 2019 at the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac (reproduced n° 138). Charles Ratton's description: "Pendant mask depicting a saurian (?). A long snout, covered with cross-shaped grooves, half-open and slightly raised, reveals a series of long teeth. A grooved, pierced lozenge occupies the space between two large, pierced eyes. Two rings at the top are used for suspension. Reproduced from African miniatures, M. Webster Plass, 1967, no. 45.
